2026–27 season
About the league
Pre-K through 6th grade, from any school and any town around here. A place for your kid to learn the game and fall in love with it.
Who we are
We're a youth basketball league for Pre-K through 6th grade. Your kid is welcome whether you live in South Pittsburg or anywhere around it. Rudy Adams took over the league last year. He's brought real progress and professionalism, and brought parents and the whole community together around our kids and basketball.
How it works
- Pre-K through 2nd grade: co-ed teams. They practice once a week and play on Sundays. Sunday games go youngest to oldest, starting with Pre-K.
- 3rd through 6th grade: boys' and girls' teams for each grade. Your kid picks Rec or Jr. Pro, and they play more often than the younger kids.
- Rec plays in the Jackson County, Alabama league. Jr. Pro plays open teams from around the area. Both have some away games, up to about 50 minutes out.
- Home games are at the Elementary School gym or the High School gym in South Pittsburg.
The season
Sign up through October 19. Teams are set before the first games in December, and the season runs through February.
